Description (Service) Offers primary health care services by Nursing and Medical personnel 
  • Provides services through three Nurse Practitioners four days per week and a visiting Physician once per month 
  • Offers services of a Social Worker from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) once per week 
  • Coordinates a Diabetic Clinic four times per year
 
Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN)  
  • Provides access to specialized medical care using videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment  
  • Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities  
  • Reduces the need to travel to receive care
