Description (Service) Focuses on the impacts of child poverty and improving the quality of life for Aboriginal children and families at risk of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder 
  • Provides education and information on the consequences of alcohol consumption during pregnancy 
  • Offers healthy lifestyles workshops and community gatherings/events to raise awareness  
  • Coordinates a community breakfast once per week at the Band Office  
  • Provides the economical and nutritious recipes for breakfast participants to take home 
  • Promotes and participates in National FASD Day on Sep 9th
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm 
Breakfast Program: Fri 10 am-11 am

  • Members of Beaverhouse First Nation 
  • Focus is on families of children who have been diagnosed with or are suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD)
