Description (Service) Victim Quick Response Program 
  • Provides immediate assistance with emergency expenses related to the incident, including: 
    • emergency home safety 
    • accommodation 
    • meals 
    • transportation 
    • dependent care costs 
    • counselling 
    • cellular phones 
    • vision care 
    • crime scene cleanup 
    • funeral expenses
 
Additional assistance for victims of human trafficking include: 
  • replacement of government documents 
  • storage locker 
  • dental 
  • tattoo removal 
  • treatment at a recovery facility
 
Note: there is no direct reimbursement to victims
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5 pm 
Emergency Services: Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served Attawapiskat First Nation ; Fort Albany First Nation ; Kashechewan First Nation ; Moose Factory ; Moosonee ; Weenusk First Nation - Peawanuk
Eligibility Victims of violent crime who have no other financial resources
Application Referral by police, emergency services, community agency or self-referral
Languages English ; Interpretive Services - Cree, available upon request
