Description (Service)
  • Operates a community-based food purchasing system that makes fresh fruits and vegetables available to community members (contents vary by season) for reasonable price  
  • Offers a variety of fruit and vegetables such as carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, strawberries and apples 
  • Provides boxes of 2 sizes, one for a family and another for singles
 
Good Food Box pick-up location: 
  • Fort William First Nation Health Centre
Hours Health Centre: Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm 
Good Food Box Pickup: 10 am-3 pm at the Health Centre, call for dates

Application Requirements for Food Box include: 
  • Registration order required anytime before 1st Thu of month 
  • Payment due by 1st Thu of each month; can be made at Health Centre reception (receipts provided) 
  • Pick-up is usually 3 wks after payment date  
  • Delivery not available
