Public Comments Note: If the criminal record search is required for school or employment reasons, it is important to remember that the process can take upwards of 12 - 16 weeks to complete
Description (Service) Provides criminal records searches
 
Offers three levels of Police Records Checks: 
  • Police Criminal Record Check 
  • Police Information Check 
  • Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Hours Mon-Thu 8 am-3 pm, last application is taken at 2:45 pm

Application
  • Must attend in person 
  • Applicants must provide a letter from the Agency or Organization requesting the Police Record Check identifying whether or not a Police Information Check or a Police Vulnerable Sector Check is needed 
  • Must provide 2 pieces of identification: one government issued photo ID and one with name and date of birth
 
Note: Health cards and Social Insurance Number (SIN) cards are not accepted
