Description (Service) Responsible for Medical Transportation assistance and processing Non-Insured Health Service claims for community and Band members  
  • Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual  
  • Assists with making travel arrangements  
  • Maintains client documentation, receipts and related information  
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community and to medical/specialist appointments in Thunder Bay
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm

Eligibility Members of Gull Bay First Nation who require assistance with Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) arrangements and forms, and/or assistance with medical transportation due to age or disability

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies  
  • Advance cancellation recommended
