Description (Service)
  • Operates an outpatient clinic for individuals who have signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or a transient ischemic attack (TIA), as well as for individuals who have been identified as being at high risk of having a stroke or TIA 
  • Assists individuals in investigating the cause, or causes, of the stroke/TIA 
  • Helps individuals develop strategies to prevent an occurrence or recurrence of their symptoms
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Individuals who have had a recent stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), or are at a high risk of a stroke or TIA
Application Referral is required from either an Emergency Department doctor, family doctor, or another medical specialist
