Description (Service) Offers support and an accompaniment service at all stages to help individuals settle into a life without violence
 
Services include:  
  • short-term individual counselling 
  • crisis telephone support 
  • assistance with procedures relating to legal and financial assistance, job seeking and apartment hunting 
  • accompaniment to hospital, lawyer or court 
  • assistance with the development of a personal safety plan 
  • support group
Hours Administration Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm 
Crisis services: Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served Biigtigong Nishnaabeg ; Heron Bay ; Manitouwadge ; Marathon ; Pays Plat First Nation ; Pic Mobert First Nation ; Rossport ; Schreiber ; Terrace Bay
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
  • Women and children who have been victims of physical, emotional, sexual or financial abuse 
  • Assault survivors if in distress 
  • Accommodates male children up to the age of 15
