Description (Service)
  • Supports health care professional use of live, two-way videoconferencing and other tele-diagnostic equipment to provide access to care for patients  
  • Allows specialists to remotely examine and prescribe treatments to patients in their home communities  
  • Reduces the need to travel to receive medical care  
  • Supports distance education opportunities for health care professionals and patients
  • NWCHC's Telemedicine staff are qualified Registered Practical Nurses who will assist before, during and following the Telemedicine appointment 
  • Patients will attend their appointments at the NorWest CHC's Telemedicine Studio
Hours Mon 8:30 am-4:30 pm; 6 pm-8 pm * Tue 8:30 am-7 pm * Wed-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
