Description (Service) Focuses on four areas: 
  • Skills for Employment 
  • Employment for Participants 
  • Employment for Employers 
  • Self-employment
  • Provides supports to help secure employment including assistance with resumes, cover letters and interview skills 
  • Provides supports that may connect to suitable short term training and skill enhancements to become employable 
  • Provides supports that may connect to suitable employers with possible wage subsidies that off-set training costs to employers 
  • Provide supports that assist some participants to pursue suitable, logical and feasible self-employment options that best fit them
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
  • Self disclosure of a disability (medical verification not required) 
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number 
  • Not eligible for Employment Insurance benefits 
  • Unemployed or under (working less than 20 hours per week)
