Description (Service) Assists youth who are looking for employment
Helps with the following: 
  • Creates an individualized plan to help the individual achieve employment success 
  • Assistance with writing a resume and cover letter 
  • Job search techniques and application assistance 
  • Finding funding for uniforms, specialized work equipment 
  • Finding funding for specialized training such as First Aid/CPR or Smart Serve
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) - 25 year(s) 
Youth with a disability who are looking for employment
Must meet the following criteria: 
  • Must self-disclose a disability (medical verification not required) 
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a Social Insurance Number 
  • Are unemployed or underemployed, working less than 25 hours a week
