Description (Service) Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements 
  • Provides transportation from/to Aroland First Nations Settlement to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist) in the towns of Nakina and Geraldton; exceptions for travel to Thunder Bay will be made on a case-by-case basis 
  • Provides assistance with completing prior approval applications for long distance medical appointments 
  • Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits Service claims
Hours Health Centre: Mon-Thu 9 am-5 pm * Fri 9 am-2 pm 
Band Office: Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm
