Public Comments Operation Red Nose is a free service but donations are gratefully accepted. All funds raised from Operation Red Nose Thunder Bay goes to support the local St John Ambulance community service programs.
Description (Agency) Operates a safe ride service during the Christmas Season
Description (Service)
  • Operates a designated driving service provided during the Holiday Season to all motorists who feel unfit to drive 
  • Volunteers needed to answer phone lines, dispatch drivers, and to drive clients home or accompany volunteer drivers
Hours 2018 Hours 9 pm-3 am Nov 30 * Dec 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29
Areas Served Thunder Bay
Eligibility Rides: 
Anyone who feels unfit to drive
 
Volunteers: 
Must be 19 or older (21 and older to drive)
Application Rides: 
Call when ready to go home
 
Volunteers: 
Must fill out application form (available on website) and be approved
