Description (Service) Assessment and Brief Treatment Residential Services 
  • Provides a culturally appropriate residential treatment program  
  • Offers multi-disciplinary treatment (includes family treatment) 
  • Addresses overall medical, psychiatric, social and academic needs  
  • Stays last up to 120 days
 
Day Treatment Centre 
  • Offers a safe learning environment for individuals experiencing difficulty in a regular school environment because of social, emotional or behavioural concerns
 
Provides integrated educational and mental health programming including: 
  • Academic studies 
  • Social/life skills and problem solving 
  • Violence prevention
 
Day Treatment Community Based Services  
  • Provides short-term mental health support and programming  
  • Focuses on prevention, early identification and advocacy
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Assessment and Brief Treatment Residential Services 
  • Individuals between 5-18 years of age with long standing behavioral problems 
Day Treatment Community-Based Services 
  • Individuals 18 years of age and younger experiencing difficulty in a regular school environment because of social, emotional or behavioural concerns
 
Day Treatment Centre 
  • Individuals 18 years of age and younger attending a community school 
  • Individuals on the Day Treatment Centre wait list 
  • Individuals who have attended the Day Treatment Centre and are returning to their community school will benefit from this program
