Public Comments Provides two vehicles to choose from: All Charter buses are low floor and accessible. 
Transit will not start a new charter after 11 pm, and trip duration must not exceed 15 hours from the time of departure. 
To cancel or make changes to a charter, individuals must complete the Change/Cancellation Form and return it to the Transit office within 72 hours prior to Charter departure.
Description (Service)
  • Operates a bus charter for individuals who are planning an outing with a group of people 
  • Offers the charter for a minimum of 3 hours and within city limits 
  • Offers an educational group program for youth to learn how to ride transit and is available to schools and registered day care centres
 
Provides two vehicle choices: 
  • Accessible van 
  • 40 foot bus

  • Fill out a Charter Request Form a minimum of two weeks in advance 
  • Applications are available on the website and can be mailed, faxed, e-mailed, or delivered to the Thunder Bay Transit Office
