Description (Service) Responsible for fire protection and prevention, and administration of the Ontario Fire Code 
  • Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires 
  • Practises regular standardized training modules and members also attend external training opportunities 
  • Maintains a fire hall, equipment and 2 fire trucks
 
Provides the following services: 
  • Education 
  • Emergency planning 
  • Fire investigation 
  • Fire suppression 
  • Hazardous materials information 
  • Home safety which includes ensuring all homes are equipped (and annually inspected) with smoke alarms and charged fire extinguishers
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Emergency Service: Mon-Sun 24 hours
