Description (Service) Provides comprehensive occupational health services and information
 
Diagnostics 
  • Compiles detailed analysis on work history 
  • Provides medical examination 
  • Determines whether workplace caused health issues
 
Group 
Supports workplace joint occupational health committees and groups of workers by: 
  • Conducting an analysis of health in workplaces 
  • Reporting identified problems and issues back to joint occupational health committees and groups
 
Inquiry 
Answers questions regarding workplace occupational health issues
 
Education 
  • Conducts presentations on occupational health 
  • Provides various resources related to health and safety such as hazard check lists
 
Research 
  • Participates in various research studies 
  • Collects statistics on related issues 
  • Maintains a Cluster Registry of Occupational Disease and Reproductive Hazards
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Open to all, but services are geared to unorganized and organized workers who believe they have work related-illness or injury
