Description (Service)
  • Delivers an Aboriginal training program that focuses on skills development and training to Matawa First Nations members 
  • Provides specialized training to prepare individuals for the mining industry, particularly in the Ring of Fire region 
  • Provides training in Thunder Bay and individual First Nation communities 
  • Works with various Educational Institutes and Industry partners
 
Provides various training programs, including: 
  • Basic line cutting 
  • Environmental Monitoring 
  • Heavy Equipment Operator 
  • Mining Essentials 
  • Pre-Trades, including carpentry, construction, craft worker, electrical, plumber 
  • Remote Camp Cook 
  • Remote Camp Support 
  • Security 
  • Underground Common Core 
  • Underground Diamond Driller Helper
