Description (Service) Provides access to traditional Anishinaabe medicine and health practices for First Nations individuals requiring this service
 
Offers the following services: 
  • Advocacy and social support for patients, clients and families during hospital stay 
  • Mediation of complaints and/or conflicts between hospital staff and First Nation people 
  • Cultural awareness education to hospital staff 
  • Access to an Elder for traditional services
Hours Office: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
Flexible hours for travel to First Nations communities
