Description (Service)
  • Provides companionship and support to individuals living with a life-limiting illness and their families or those in need of grief and bereavement support 
  • Recruits and trains volunteers to provide supports and services to the frail elderly and persons who are managing chronic illness who could benefit from a palliative approach to care 
  • Volunteers coordinate and support group activities for the purpose of life enrichment in a peer support setting
Head office is located in Thunder Bay
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
Service hours vary depending on availability of volunteers

Eligibility Individuals diagnosed with a life threatening illness or their caregiver
Application Referrals are accepted from anyone, providing the client agrees to receive service
