Description (Service) Arranges free air transportation for Canadians who need to travel for non-emergency medical care outside of their home communities and cannot afford the flight costs

Eligibility
  • Individuals who are in financial need of assistance for non-emergency medical transportation 
  • Requires the name of the referring physician and name and address of the medical centre or destination 
  • For out of country flights, individuals must obtain a written notice from their Provincial Health Provider
Application
  • Medical appointments must be booked before a request can be submitted for a flight 
  • Flight requests can be made on the website or call for information
