Public Comments Most Ontario Employment Assistance Services were replaced by the Employment Services (ES) network in August 2010. Those remaining support services for persons with disabilities, though it is best to call the service provider to find out how the service is tailored to meet individual needs.
Description (Service) Offers employment services which may include dissemination of labour market information, employment needs assessment, career planning, employment counselling, diagnostic services, job search skills, job finding clubs, job placement services, developing an employment action plan, referral to appropriate interventions, assessments for disability-related accommodations and participant case management and follow-up
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Astorville ; Bonfield ; Callander ; Corbeil ; Marten River ; Mattawa ; North Bay ; Powassan ; Redbridge ; South River ; Trout Creek; Tilden Lake
Eligibility Persons with disabilities who are unemployed or underemployed
Application Call ahead; some providers may require a referral before a visit
