Description (Service)	Acts as the mandated training and employment delivery agency for the Treaty #3 Area Provides education and training skills for individuals who are unemployed Provides training in upgrading existing skills for employed individuals Provides new skills training for individuals in low paying jobs and seeking opportunities for advancement Also provides the following services: Assists with recruitment and selection processes of training participants and trainers Assists with developing training plans Provides information on occupations and skill requirements Provides training and/or advice on training project implementation Provides assistance and support to youth seeking work experience, summer employment, training, job readiness strategies, career information or gaining community service skills Offers a Self Employment Program Youth Programs Provides several bursaries for graduating students from high schools Offers career information workshops and conferences Provides a youth entrepreneurship program through a placement with a private sector business Oversees youth group projects that benefit the community Administers programs and services through the following six sub-offices: Eastern Area First Nations Northern Area First Nations Southern Area First Nations Western Area First Nations Kenora Downtown Market Square Anokiiwin Job Connect

Eligibility	Ages: 15 year(s) - 65 year(s) Must be a member of a Treaty #3 First Nation under Agreement Contact local or head office to determine financial assistance eligibility NOTE: Can assist First Nations non Treaty #3 members to access funding from other First Nations or service providers Any Treaty #3 member living in Canada can request assistance for all programs except the Self Employment Program Self Employment Program All Treaty #3 members as listed in Area Program records with the exception of Treaty #3 members living outside Treaty #3 territory in Canada
