Public Comments Vehicles do not have wheelchair ramps 
Clients in wheelchairs must be able to transfer from the wheelchair to the vehicle seat on their own or with minimal assistance
Description (Service) Offers a low cost, door to door transportation service for people 55 years of age and over enabling them to access needed services such as doctor appointments and physiotherapy
 
Vehicle Donations: 
  • Accepts donations of "good condition" vehicles, suitable for transporting seniors 
  • Issues income tax receipt for vehicle donation

Areas Served Thunder Bay
Boundaries Up to a maximum of 100 kilometers outside city limits
Eligibility Ages: 55 year(s) and up 
 
  • Prospective clients must not be able to access the public transportation services(too far to walk/bus stairs too difficult) 
  • Must not be able to drive themselves 
  • Must not live in a long-term care facility 
  • Must be able to get in and out of the vehicle with minimal assistance
