Description (Agency) Operates a fish and game association
Description (Service)
  • Provides provincial and federal licensed rifle and handgun ranges 
  • Teaches and facilitates handgun safety and hunting safety courses 
  • Offers safety education for all forms of firearms 
  • Assists with meeting and understanding legal and safe storage requirements of firearms and transportation of restricted firearms 
  • Provides licensed training facilities for Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Ministry of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) 
  • Offers ski trails and shooting ranges for Biathalon training of private clubs, army and navy cadets
Hours Outdoor Range Mon- Fri 9 am-9 pm, Sat-Sun 10:30 am-9 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
  • Interested groups or individuals not restricted by law 
  • Youth under 18 years of age must have adult supervision for use of the shooting range
