Responsible for the administration of the following program and services: 
  • Child Welfare Services 
  • Family and Children's Services 
  • Foster Care and Adoption Services 
  • Outreach Program 
  • Residential Services 
  • Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)
 
Volunteer Opportunities 
  • Driver: drive children to and from appointments/visits, as scheduled 
  • Foster Parent: provide a home to a child in care 
  • Life Book: assist social worker to develop an informative life book for a child in care 
  • Parent Aid: provide support, friendship and encouragement to an isolated high risk mother in a non-professional relationship 
  • Parent Relief: care for children of a family for a few hours to give parents some private time 
  • Recreation Buddy: spend time providing and engaging in a recreational outing with a child or youth 
  • Special Friend: provides affection and guidance of a caring adult through one to one relationship and regular outings/activities 
  • Tutor: provides one -to-one attention to a child/teen to improve school performance in a subject or subjects

Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Jul-Aug 
Intake and Assessment Mon-Sun 24 hours

Eligibility Christmas Hampers 
  • Hampers are for families receiving services for the Society or older teens in care living independently 
  • Any group or individual who is able to purchase and compile a hamper
