Description (Service)
  • Enables clients with chronic pain to enhance their ability to function in all aspects of their lives 
  • Provides services on a day program basis 
  • Provides a 6-week interdisciplinary program which includes assessments, individual and group education and therapy sessions
Hours Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District ; Thunder Bay District
Eligibility Ages: 15 year(s) and up 
 
  • Individuals with chronic pain that has not responded to previous medical and/or surgical treatments and interferes with the individual's ability to function in daily activities 
  • Must be medically stable 
  • Must be independently mobile with or without the use of an assistive device
 
Exclusionary Criteria 
  • Considered medically unstable, with acute mental illness, or have active suicidal ideations 
  • Not capable of or willing to agree to the terms outlined in the contract
