Description (Service)
  • Preserves, promotes and honours the sporting heritage of Northwestern Ontario 
  • Showcases displays on all areas of sports and their development, and a Hall of Fame 
  • Provides educational programs and guided tours for schools and community groups 
  • Collects artifacts and records the region's sports history 
  • Maintains archives, files and a library that are available for research and educational purposes 
  • Hosts an Induction Ceremony every September to officially induct teams, builders and athletes into the Hall of Fame 
  • Accepts nominations from the public until January 31st of each year
Hours Exhibit Gallery and Library Tue-Sat 12 noon-5 pm
