Description (Service)
  • Provides legal advice and assistance to residents within the district of Thunder Bay, particularly Aboriginal people who because of poverty, geographic isolation or language differences, do not have access to traditional existing legal services 
  • Focuses on helping people get income maintenance benefits and maintain access to housing 
  • Provides services without cost to people who meet eligibility criteria 
  • Provides advice, assistance, and representation in courts or tribunals 
  • Provides legal education workshops in appropriate areas of law

Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-12 noon, 1 pm-5 pm 
Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm, Jul-Aug 
Intake hours (year round): Mon, Wed, Fri 9 am-3 pm, limited capacity, first come, first serve
