  • Works with and for women in conflict with the law to ensure that the criminal justice system is more effective and humane 
  • Reduces the involvement of women in the criminal justice system through advocacy on behalf of, and direct service to women who have come into contact with the criminal justice system 
  • Promotes community awareness and understanding of the criminal justice system as it affects women 
  • Promotes community involvement in the criminal justice system through research and public education 
  • Offers group programming at Thunder Bay Correctional Centre 
  • Operates a resource centre in the office
