Description (Service) Community centre for older adults offering various recreational and educational programs and services
Activities and services include the following: 
  • River Street Cafe 
  • Registered programs such as fitness, visual arts, computer lessons, and guitar lessons 
  • Drop-in activities such as card games, line dancing, and recreational sports such as badminton and pickleball 
  • Income Tax Clinic (Apr and May) 
  • Library services 
  • Health and Wellness programs such as blood pressure clinic (once a month), and Hearing Screening 
  • Provides space rental
Hours Mon-Wed 8:30 am-9:30 pm * First and third Thu 8:30 am-10 pm * Other Thu 8:30 am-9:30 pm * Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Sat 9 am-4 pm * Sun 12 noon-5 pm, Sep-May

Eligibility Ages: 55 year(s) and up 
  • Married couples: only 1 needs to be 55 or over and regularly partipate in order for the younger spouse to be eligible to participate 
  • Sunday Music and Variety Program - open to public of all ages

  • Registered Programs require pre-registration
