Description (Service) Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation 
  • Dedicated to practising cultural and spiritual Anishinaabe traditions and way of life with half of community members speaking Ojibway language  
  • Provides the Mino' Giizhigad Elder's Complex for senior community members 
  • Offers community emergency medical services through ambulance and paramedics 
  • Provides a youth and elder's cultural camp at Black River 
  • Serves as home for the Whitefish Bay singers, a cultural drum group established in 1970 who travel across the country and in Europe and have 15 recorded albums
