Public Comments The Association is a member of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association and the Ontario Therapeutic Riding Association.
Description (Agency) Provides therapeutic and recreational horseback riding for children and adults with disabilities
Description (Service)
  • Provides therapeutic and recreational horseback riding for children and adults with disabilities 
  • Teaches horsemanship so individuals are able to participate in recreational and therapeutic riding activities 
  • Assists individuals in lessons, grooming, and special events 
  • Provides three volunteers for each individual
Hours Hours vary for lessons

Eligibility
  • All persons with physical or developmental disabilities that require minimum assistance with mounting 
  • Individuals needing to be lifted must weigh less than 65 pounds
