  • Operates a volunteer fire department  
  • Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code  
  • Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires  
  • Provides fire safety and prevention education
Hours Services Mon-Sun 24 hours 
Municipal Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Blind River ; Iron Bridge ; The Fire Department serves the entire Municipality. Station 2 serves from the Easterly boundary at Blind River, Iron Bridge, and west towards Sowerby.
