Description (Agency) To maximize the independence, personal empowerment and community participation of people with disabilities providing assistance with activities of daily living
Description (Service) Provides information for persons with disabilities and education of the general public 
Delivers programs including:
 
Attendant Services/Acquired Brain Injury Services 
  • Attendants help with daily actitivites such as personal grooming, transferring, dressing, bathing, meals, ventilator and tracheotomy services, etc
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals with a permanent physical disability or acquired brain injury, who: 
  • Require assistance with personal care and activities of daily living 
  • Have the ability to direct their own care 
  • Are a resident of Ontario 
  • Have a valid OHIP card 
  • Are not in receipt of insurance funds, and 
  • Qualify for Aging at Home programs
