Description (Service)
  • Provides a service club for Veterans  
  • Maintains a close liaison with the Veterans Affairs Canada, welfare agencies and Human Resources  
  • Houses a museum of portraits and other military information 
  • Provides social activities for members 
  • Supports community programs, particularly through direct community-level activities, including the sponsorship of a public speaking contest, youth sports, and poster and essay contests 
  • Participates in the poppy campaign fundraiser
Drum and Trumpet Band 
  • Takes part in community concerts yearly 
  • Performs with out-of-town parades in various locations throughout the district 
  • Offers lessons to individuals interested in joining
