Description (Service) Provides a six-bed open detention/custody facility for young male and female (coed) offenders
 
Offers the following services to all youth in care: 
  • Education 
  • Food services 
  • French language services 
  • Health services 
  • Recreation 
  • Spiritual, Cultural and Religious Services 
  • Strength Based, Individualized Programming
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm 
Service Mon-Sun 24 hours

Eligibility Ages: 12 year(s) - 17 year(s) 
 
Male/female youth who have been charged under the Youth Criminal Justice Act and are awaiting disposition, or have been sentenced to a term of open custody
Application Referrals accepted: 
  • Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA) or 
  • From police with a court order signed by a judge or a Justice of the Peace admitting a youth to detention or custody
