Description (Service)
  • Provides a holistic learning experience that encompasses the spiritual, emotional, physical, mental, and social needs of Aboriginal learners 
  • Programs can be individual, small groups, online classes and include cultural integration within the curriculum 
  • Provides literacy and basic skills training
 
Offers a training plan to track progress towards a career or educational path through: 
  • Academic Upgrading 
  • General Education Development (GED) preparation and testing 
  • Improving employability skills 
  • Self-management and self-direction skills 
  • Digital technology
Hours Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm
Areas Served Sault Ste. Marie
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
  • Individuals who are out of school 
  • Special emphasis on individuals receiving social assistance through Ontario Works 
  • Support programming for Native learners
