Description (Service) Represents the community in lands and resources initiatives 
  • Liaises with all companies undertaking resource development in traditional Couchiching territory including mining developments, forestry projects and hydro electric power projects 
  • Participates in negotiations and agreements with resource developers to ensure Couchiching First Nation is fairly included in benefits 
  • Works with the Housing Department for allocation of land to Couchiching registered members that wish to build a home or cabin on Couchiching territorial land
