Description (Service)
  • Manages rental units 
  • Provides rent geared to income (RGI) housing units 
  • Focuses on supporting successful tenancy 
  • Provides case management services
 
NOTE: Individuals with a history of violent behavior or non-compliance willl NOT be considered
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Kenora District ; Rainy River District
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals with substance abuse issues and with low income
 
Includes individuals who have addictions and: 
  • Require stable housing 
  • Completed or are currently in an addictions treatment program 
  • Are on methodone maintenance 
  • Have concurrent disorders 
  • Are homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless
Application Requires addictions assessment and individual must: 
  • Be motivated and agree to case management 
  • Be ready to live in an independent housing situation 
  • Show a low risk of the potential for violence 
  • Agree to use relapse prevention approaches 
  • Agree to cooperate fully with all relevant providers
