Description (Service) Functions as a family centre, offering children and families a place to learn, play and socialize
  • Offers programs to children at no cost to parents
  • Provides play centres with toys and materials for children
  • Offers preschool programs to introduce children to math and reading
  • Offers workshops on various parenting topics
  • Answers questions about child's development
  • Provides links to family services within the community
  • Participates in various preschool programs with community partners
  • Loans out adult resources on various parenting issues and child development issues
Drop In Playtime

Encourages parents and children to drop in anytime during regular hours to use the play space and learning centres

Provides the following programs to low income families:

Baking In A Bag

Provides a baked goods recipe and all the ingredients required to make it for families to take home

Breakfast Coupons

Provides coupons for a family that can be exchanged for 1-2 litres of milk, 1 loaf of bread and 1 dozen eggs at a local grocery store

Community Kitchen
  • Provides ingredients and instruction on preparing a simple healthy meal
  • Allows families to take home the recipe and meal
Community Lunch

Provides a lunch for community members 3 times per week

Note: Has a limited supply of clothing available to anyone in need upon request
Hours Tue, Thu-Fri 10 am-3:30 pm * Wed 10 am-12 noon, 1 pm-3:30 pm  
Baking In A Bag: Wed 10 am-3:30 pm 
Breakfast Coupons: Tue-Fri 10 am-3:30 pm 
Community Kitchen: Every second Tue at 1 pm 
Community Lunch: Tue, Thu, Fri 12 noon-1 pm
