  • Red Lake CKDR 1340 AM

  • Vermilion Bay CKDR 92.7 FM or Q104 103.3 FM
 
Cancellations will also be posted on an emergency banner at www.kpdsb.on.ca 
Parents/guardians may call the Transportation Department which is open all year including the summer
Description (Agency) Offers fully integrated transportation services for Keewatin-Patricia School Board, Northwest Catholic School Board, Kenora Catholic School Board and Aurores Boreales
Description (Service)
  • Offers fully integrated bus transportation services for Keewatin-Patricia School Board, Northwest Catholic School Board, Kenora Catholic School Board and Conseil Scolaire de District Catholique Aurores boreal├ęs 
  • Provides transportation services for many First Nations communities 
  • Supervises and designs bus routes 
  • Responsible for communicating school closures and bus routes to the public 
  • Provides updated information on bus cancellations and school closures on emergency banner in website
 
First Rider Program 
  • Offers video and bus ride with a focus on school bus safety 
  • Aims to alleviate concerns about riding a school bus
 
Visible Parent Program
 
Requires a parent or guardian to accompany JK/SK students to and from pick up and drop off bus stop
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Kenora District
Boundaries East to Upsala, West to Manitoba border, North to Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake and Savant Lake, South to Sioux Narrows
Eligibility First Rider Program
 
JK/SK first time school bus riders
 
Visible Parent Program 
  • Guardian or parent substitute must be over 11 years of age 
  • Suspension of bus service will be imposed if not adhered to
