Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides programs and services that support and enhance young children and their families 
  • Offers weekly swimming sessions 
  • Provides lunch and social time for parents and children at the centre after swim 
  • Provides child care for all programs 
  • Participates in breakfast program at North Star and St Pat's Separate Schools
 
Car Seat Program 
  • Offers child car restraint inspections by certified technicians 
  • Hosts periodic car seat clinics
 
Cooking Together 
  • Provides a weekly lunch program; families plan, prepare and eat a healthy meal together 
  • Provides grocery budgeting and shopping advice
 
Fitness Sessions 
  • Facilitates a parents fitness program (3 times a week)
 
Life Skills 
  • Offers a variety of weekly classes to help improve life skills 
  • Classes offered at Shelter of Hope Crisis Centre
 
Parenting Classes 
  • Provides group educational sessions on various related topics 
  • Offers a culturally sensitive native parenting class
 
Parent Relief 
  • Provides child care for one hour per week for parents for any reason 
 
Wii Club 
  • Offers an after school activity program which includes crafts, games and a healthy snack

Parents and Tots: Thu 11 am-12:30 pm 
Wii Club: Mon 4 pm-5:30 pm
