Description (Service)
  • Provides translation services to individuals from English to Ojibway and from Ojibway to English  
  • Assists doctors and nurses with translation needs 
  • Escorts patients to medical appointments 
  • Offers translation services with parenting, visiting elders and Aboriginal craft circles
 
Translator available for following medical appointments: 
  • Dental 
  • Doctor's visits 
  • Hospital and Rainycrest Home for the Aged 
  • Optometrist 
  • Pharmacy 
  • Physiotherapist 
  • Ultrasound and diagnostic imaging
Hours Mon-Thu 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4:30 pm * Fri 8:30 am-12 noon, 1 pm-4 pm
