Description & Services
Description (Service) Provides programs and services to assist families and interested parties to make decisions and plans in the best interests of a child/children in the family 
  • Supports an internal public relations committee to inform community members of programs and services offered 
  • Offers a community liaison member to cooperate with local school boards, police services, fire services, health care agencies and Integrated Services Northwest to promote teamwork 
  • Conducts surveys and offers formal complaint process as means of gathering information on improving services
 
Family Centred Conferencing Program 
  • Organizes and supervises meetings for family, extended family, friends, community members and service providers to discuss the care and safety issues of children in the family 
  • Endorses principles of family group decision making 
  • Encourages input from child/children involved 
  • Facilitates conferences through a neutral coordinator who encourages follow-up to ensure long-term goals are achieved
 
Also administers the Supervised Access Program
Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm
