Description (Service)
  • Offers separated families a way to deal with difficulties that may arise during the exchange of the child between the parents/guardians 
  • Provides a setting where visits and exchanges can take place under the supervision of trained staff and volunteers 
  • Coordinates and supervises court ordered supervised visits 
  • Coordinates and supervises court ordered and voluntary exchanges where there is unresolved conflict between the separated parents

Eligibility
  • Families that require service except wards of the Children's Aid Society or Crown 
  • Open to any separated or divorced parents of children under age of 18 
  • Voluntary referrals only accepted when both parties consent to service provided
Application
  • Court ordered visits/exchanges will be accepted through the client or their lawyer and must provide a copy of the court order 
  • All parties involved must meet individually with the Access Centre staff before the actual start date of the visit/exchange
