Description (Service) Provides a long-term treatment facility for individuals aged 16 and older with alcohol and/or drug dependencies who are seeking professional assistance with their recovery
 
Provides the following programs: 
  • Residential Recovery Program 
  • Addiction Supportive Housing Program 
  • Aftercare Program
 
Works with other community services which may include health care, medical clinics, mental health organizations, financial services and other therapies 
Hours Mon-Sun 24 hours
Areas Served North Bay
Eligibility Ages: 16 year(s) and up 
 
Individuals ages 16 and older with alcohol and/or drug dependencies who must: 
  • have been abstinent from alcohol and/or all psychoactive drugs for at least 72 hours 
  • participate in a scheduled personal screening interview prior to acceptance into the Recovery Home, either in person or by telephone 
  • be willing to attend self-help meetings such as A.A. and/or N.A. 
  • be able to make a commitment for 3 months 
  • be motivated to make positive lifestyle changes towards recovery and abstinence
Application Referral through various community mental health and addictions agencies, physician, self or family
Languages English ; French
Fees Service - Beds ; 22 beds are funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, 5 are fee for service beds
