Description (Service)
  • Functions as an outpatient clinic for individuals who have had signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), or who are at risk of having a stroke or TIA 
  • Provides early assessments and appropriate interventions for stroke 
  • Provides access to diagnostic tests 
  • Educates patients and family members about the risk factors that can cause transient ischemic attack (TIA) or stroke, and assists in the development of prevention strategies
Hours Office Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Eligibility Individuals who have had signs and symptoms of a recent stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), or who are at rish of having a stroke or TIA
Application Must be referred by an emergency room doctor, a family physician, or other medical/nursing specialist
