Description (Service)
  • Provides transportation to and from medical appointments relating to a diagnosis of cancer 
  • Assists with accessing other transportation options, including the Northern Health Travel Grant (NHTG) 
  • Recruits volunteer drivers
Hours Hours vary, call for appointment
Areas Served Nipissing District ; Parry Sound District ; Temiskaming Shores
Eligibility Individuals living with cancer who need transportation to their medical appointments
Application
  • Registration is required and can be completed in the office 
  • Transportation services require advance notice of 3 business days
    Languages English ; French
    Fees Program - One time registration ; Patients aged 18 and younger are not required to pay the registration fee * Fee assistance available for registration costs.
