Description (Service)
  • Provides a 24-hour crisis response telephone service 
  • Provides home visits for those who choose not to or are unable to come to the shelter 
  • Provides immediate crisis assessment and intervention, referrals and follow-up 
  • Provides pre-crisis support and wellness planning 
  • Provides accompaniment for appointments and advocate on client's behalf for legal, financial, social housing, health or education issues 
  • Offers individual counselling and support groups 
  • Educates the public about issues regarding violence against women

Areas Served Nipissing District ; Nipissing First Nation
Eligibility Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal women and children who are in need of support or experiencing a crisis
